My First WOYWW

Against my better judgement, I am linking up with Julia at The Stamping Ground for her weekly WOYWW (that translates into: What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - in case you were wondering).

I am not one of those uber organized scrappers like Becky at Fourth House on The Right, but I wish I was!  In fact, for whatever reason when I am elbow deep in creating something kinda awesome it looks a whole lot like this:

Holy crap!  Is there even a table under all that mess???  I keep telling myself that one day soon I am going to have my very own scrap room and pictures like this are going to be a thing of the past.  Then I have a reality check and realize that although my dining room table will be neat and clean (GIGANTIC plus), if you are brave enough to open the door to the scrap room, the desk will most likely look just like that picture!  The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?  Some things never change.

  1. That's a familiar sight! I'm impressed that you keep it contained in one area, mine always covers my desk & our coffee table!

  4. Most desks you will see on here look just the same, :). Mines covered with stamps I'm un-mounting, and the pic I posted looks tidy compared to what it looks like this evening! Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #73

  5. Looks just like my desk when I am being crafty ;) only it usually extends to the floor around me and any other surface I can find!

  6. Hi Jules, I'm unmounting because the wood mounts take up so much storage space, lol. This way they will all go into A4 lever files, along with the unmounted stamps I already have. Hugs, Shaz

  7. This is not messy AT ALL! Its just creative! Messy is when there is also not-scrappy related stuff on there (which I am totally guilty of all the time!)

Also - super jealous that you went to RPM. I've been here for 18 months and still haven't gone!

  15. Wow, someone whose desk is close to mine. Welcome to the addiction that is WOYWW, and well done for resisting the urge to clear everything into a heap somewhere else. I gives us a chance to have a real good look round. See you next week. xx Maggie #32
